 Patch 2.46 Part 1 - April 10th

One of the blog sites I visit has supposedly confirm the contents of the next patch and they do include the the level 80 dungeons. Keep in mind that this list may not be comprehensive and two of the features I have not heard from being part of the Chinese version. The two features I question are buying the lvl 70 tokens normally bought from Insignias will be supposedly available from the Guild shop; as well as a level 80 PvP set.

  • You can now choose if you use Attempt in mpd, you now can help others even  you haven't done your own Attempt for Mpd (your attempt wont' get wasted).
  • 80 mpd Included, 80 Normal, boss drops 2 leg stones and VIP chests gives 1 Stone.
  • Most likely 80 PVP gear will be incuded but not sure about this.
  • Epic shards for 70 set (from arena) can now also be bought in guild shop.
  • Level 80 leg stones available in guild shop.
  • 5 daily Group treasure hunts to get gems for Guardian System.
    Battle Guardian System comes to enhance and specialize defense,
  • 10 solo Arena Attempts (Hope fully Reward is doubled)
  • 15 Group Arena Attempt, rewards doubled but not pvp points.
  • Items can now be stacked up to 9999 in Inventory and Vault instead of 999
  • Exp from level 70  to 80 is Lowered, u don't need bulk of exp to reach level 80 .

I found a second blog post with the exact same information. Supposedly the original information came from the "Wartune Community (wartune.com) elite club." So take it for what you will.

S1 Servers are going down for maintenance tonight to test out Patch 2.46 Part 1
Expect this to hit the rest of the servers either the 9th or the 10th. However due to one of the "Springtime Events" indicating the use of Treasure Maps starting the 10th, I'm leaning more towards the 10th as the actual patch day.

  • Level 80 equipment
  • Level 80 multiplayer dungeon: Nirvana
  • New system: Battle Protection


  • New daily quest event: Lost Treasure

Hoped onto the S1 server for a while. Leveling up a toon just to see the content and they made A LOT of little changes that are good for some, not good for another.

Let's start with a few things:

a) They are INCREASING the XP needed to level up in the 70-80 bracket. Talked to a lvl 79 and the xp required to go from 79 to 80 jumped from 769,359,872 to 1.25 Million



b) They are adding 2 new stats, Intensity and Tenacity




c) Reducing the number of Solo Arenas in half. I suspect the rewards doubled but not sure.



d) Visual upgrade to the Hot Events box



e) Class War winners are now on display in the Cloud City



f) New notice that bound balens do not count towards Balen Consumption events



g) New BR Upgrade Guide implemented






h) Collection icons now have lables when they are ready or complete. Also The daily Guide has been moved and given a new icon (a present icon).



i) Lost Treasure requires level 55 and is located near the Circuit Quest provider



j) Lost Treasures provide the gems for the new Battle Protection feature to help protect against Sylphs






k) They are adjusting the Troop locations on the battle screen. Troops will now be further north and south and spread a tad further apart




l) They are NOT adding a lvl 70 or 80 PvP set, based on what is available in the Arena shop.

m) I did NOT see the level 80 tokens in the Crypt shop. So not sure what is the deal there.

And it isn't tied to progress in necropolis at this point, as I've beaten necropolis level 25 and still don't see the shards. Gear from 80 dungeon drops can be recycled for lvl 4 refinement stones, which will be usable to refine lvl 80 gear.

4. Team arena attempts reduced to 15. Insignia reward doubled. Pvp points earned unchanged. Single player arena attempts reduced to 10.

5. Can now hold more than 6 sylphs. Up to 6 additional spots can be opened using balens. 100 for first, 200, for second, 300 for 3rd though 6th, for a total of 1500 for all 6.

6. Sylph arena has a battle report so you can see who attacked you.

7. AI Sylph Transformation. The AI now transforms to sylph mode. This can happen while you are in AFK mode. It can also happen when you are attacking an opponent's AI (such as in single player arena, plunder or TOK).

8. Two New Stats. Two new stats added -- Intensity (increase damage to players) and Tenacity (decrease damage received from players). Though, there is no way to gain these stats. My guess is it relates to the two new astrals to be added.

9. Blitz Mode Access to Fishing/Jewel Hunt. You can now do Jewel Hunt and Fishing mini games while blitzing.

10. Treasure Hunt. Treasure hunt added where you can do 5 treasure hunt attempts per day while teaming with 3 others. You can get 5 maps per day, with small chance at rarer maps that gives better rewards. Treasure hunt gives crystal shards, which are used to synthesize crystals, which are used for Battle Protection. You get map from Berdim who stands near the the Circuit Quest person, Asim. You can spend balens or a new item, Berdim's Wine, to improve chance to get rare maps.

11. Battle Protection. New defense system that allows you to increase your ability to defend against the 6 elemental attack types.

12. New Fate Resistance. Resistance is additional use of fate stones similar to Brutal Edge except that it adds defensive stats. It adds 150 pdef/mdef and 1000 hp at level 1. Each additional level goes up by 100 pdef/mdef and 1000 hp. Level 20 is 2050 pdef/mdef and 20000 hp.

13. Hot Event Layout. Hot event layout has changed. This is just an appearance change.

14. Sylph Engulf Boost. For 50 balens, you can now choose to transfer 100% of a sylph's experience to another when it gets engulfed.

15. Tank Joining. You can no longer join tanks in the last 5 minutes. This is now similar to battleground. Total tank length is still 25 minutes.

16. Evil Unicorn Card. You can now trade 25 mount spirits for an evil unicorn card. However, as of right now, when you open the card, you instead get the new Nether Lycan mount, which is a +100 to all stat mount. This seems to be bugged, and it is unclear what it is intended here.

17. Additional Mounts. In addition to the nether lycan mount, there are two additional mounts: pig in blue (+10 to all stats) and jade rabbit (+30 to all stats). Unclear how to get them, but I assume future events.

18. New Clothes/Wings. Cerulean equipment and wings added to dressing room. Unclear how to get them, but I assume future event.

19. Sylph Atoll AFK. You can now AFK during sylph atoll battles.

20. Sylph Skill Reorder. You can now move sylph skills around and reorder them.

21. Class War Winners. Statue of class war winners are now on display in Cloud City central area.

22. Formation Appearance Change. The spacing between players in team formation and of troops in single player formations has been adjusted so that there is more space between them.

23. BR Update Guide. Not any new gameplay, but a guide accessible through your inventory page that provides advice on various ways to improve your BR.

24. Balen shop sells level 4 refinement crystals for 3 balens each and lvl 1 elemental crystals used in battle protection for 145 balens each. You can also synthesize 10 lvl 3 refinement crystals into 1 lvl 4 refinement crystal in blacksmith.

25. Guild Divine Altar Start Level. When summoning guild divine altar, you now get to choose the start level. Though, for today, our only choice was level 1. I think, but haven't confirmed yet, that starting tomorrow we can choose any level that we previously reached.

26. Gold Capacity Increase. Maximum amount of gold you can hold at one time increased. At level 80 with level 80
warehouse, it is now 13.86 million.
Things that have not changed:

A. No change to inventory to have 9999 per spot.

B. No new additions to guild shop, arena shop or crypt shop.

C. I'm level 80 so can't confirm myself, but from what I have heard, the amount of experience needed to get from level 70 to 80 has not changed.

D. No level 70 or 80 pvp gear.

E. No level 80 single player dungeon.

One more thing for the current level 80s who want to attempt the new dungeon the day of it's release.

A: If the rumors are true you can choose when you "use up" your attempt. So clear normal, and then choose to use your attempt on nm right after.

With new patch, you can also to choose to have a run not count as your daily MP attempt for rewards. So we ran regular and had it not count as our attempt rewards, but it still opened up nightmare. Then, we ran nightmare and had that count as our daily attempt for rewards.

I found this on the main forums but it had no cooberating evidence to support it. But I'll post it but take it for a grain of salt (at least for 24 hours).

• Amount of Experience needed from level 71-80 is lowered by 55 %

Exp for Level 71 is lowered From 72,550,323 to 35,521,869.
Exp for Level 72 is lowered From 94,315,420 to 46,859,621.
Exp for Level 73 is lowered From 122,610,047 to 59,584,321.
Exp for Level 74 is lowered From 159,393,062 to 68,954,215.
Exp for Level 75 is lowered From 207,210,981 to 98,359,741.
Exp for Level 76 is lowered From 269,374,276 to 128,961,730.
Exp for Level 77 is lowered From 350,186,559 to 168,209,549.
Exp for Level 78 is lowered From 455,242,527 to 221,399,159.
Exp for Level 79 is lowered From 591,815,286 to 269,509,668.
Exp for Level 80 is lowered From 769,359,872 to 384,961,510.

While the compensation will be provided to -

The following Changes will be made on the patch which is on 9th April.
